Why Everyday Objects Deserve a Little Care

The things we reach for every day tell the best stories.

Keep the routine simple

A soft dry cloth near the door makes care easier to remember. If a product’s care instructions allow it, use a suitable leather cleaner or conditioner sparingly and test it on an inconspicuous area first. Different finishes can react differently, so the product-specific guidance should always lead.

Choose a place to rest

Store walking pieces in a dry, ventilated place rather than leaving them in a sealed bag or a hot car. Giving them a consistent home also makes the beginning of the next walk less hurried.
